At our barn conversion project in Epping, Essex, the restoration carpenters have started work on the magnificent historic oak roof structure of the great barn.
Dating back to the 17th century, the roof is a fantastic example of historic building techniques and the patina of the oak frame is beautiful. It’s always hugely enjoyable to work on historic buildings and preserve them for the future and it’s a real privilege to have been entrusted with the care and restoration of this amazing building.
