Work is well under way at our new residential new build development in Elsenham, Essex.
Due to prevailing ground conditions, the structure had to be piled and the concrete ground beam was poured at the weekend. After several weeks of ploughing through the mud and the work being below ground, the Elevate Construction team are looking forward to getting the foundations complete and the ground floor beams in place.
It was interesting to see the concrete being delivered though the concrete pump’s huge boom straight into the beam position. As ever, it’s amazing to see how quickly foundations can be formed and if you ask the team who were there on Saturday morning, much more preferable than shifting 30m3 of concrete with their wheelbarrows!
